At LA HERENCIA HOTEL AND GUEST HOUSES, we understand that pets are an important part of the family. Therefore, we have created a pet-friendly policy, ensuring a pleasant experience for both our two- and four-legged guests.

1. Pets Allowed

Pets classified as domestic (dogs and cats) are allowed.

A maximum of one pet per room is allowed.

2. Reservation Requirements

It is necessary to inform at the time of booking that you will be traveling with a pet.

A waiver must be signed at check-in, accepting the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.

3. Fees and Deposits

• An additional fee will be charged per pet per night.

• A disinfection fee is charged at the end of the stay.

• In the event that the pet causes any damage or harm to the property, the guest will be responsible for any costs associated with its restoration.

4. Rules of Conduct

• Pets must always be under the supervision of their owners.

• Leaving your pet alone in the room is prohibited, unless it is in a suitable crate or carrier.

• Some dog breeds are considered potentially dangerous due to their size and strength. While this does not mean that these pets pose a danger to their owners or others, the goal is to prevent potential harm by using a muzzle correctly. This is regulated by Law 746 of 2002.

• The hotel will not be responsible for any misconduct the pet may have that could cause harm to other people.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets on and around the hotel premises.

6. Permitted Areas

•Pets are welcome in various areas of the hotel. However, they are not allowed in wet areas for hygiene and biosecurity reasons.

7. Health and Safety

•Only healthy and vaccinated pets are accepted. Vaccination certificates may be requested if necessary.

8. Complaints and Problems

•In the event of disturbance or complaints from other guests, the hotel reserves the right to request that the pet be removed from the area.

9. Modifications to the Policy

•This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Guests are advised to check the current policy at the time of their reservation.
